Opportunity 9: Transport optimisation

The export pressure in the export pipeline can be optimised so that it is as low as possible. This can be done through, e.g.:

  • Reducing the export pressure in pipelines between installations so that it is as low as the minimum requirement
  • Removing wax in the pipeline in order to reduce the export pressure

Company that assessed/implemented these improvement opportunities: Aker BP

System group: Export and by-product handling (30-39)
Type: Operations optimisation Investment: 1 - 10 MNOK
Profitability: Variable Implementation: Assessed
