Turning off the deck lights during daylight hours on Navion Saga results in a fuel saving of approximately 30 m3 of diesel per year. Process to get there: Study to confirm feasibility, as well as evaluation of possible adverse effects to the lifetime expectations of lighting fixtures. Results (environmental and financial): Reduced CO2 emissions by 90 tonnes per year, a saving of about 45 000 NOK in taxes as well as reduced diesel fuel costs of 30 000 NOK.
