General process optimisation can contribute to reducing energy use. This can be done through, e.g.:

  • Reduced stripping gas in the glycol unit
  • Recirculating the off-gas from the produced water degassing tank
  • Increasing the pressure in the cold separator
  • Reducing the temperature set point in the wet gas coolers
  • Reduction of the vent gas from the seal oil
