Establishing optimised condition-based maintenance for equipment can lead to reduced energy use and time savings. This can be achieved through, e.g.:

  • Going for condition-based maintenance instead of calendar based (i.e. fixed intervals) maintenance. This can have a large influence on failure of heat exchangers for example.
  • Installation of monitoring equipment on large rotating equipment
